Bluegrass Festival

High Hills: This California all female band has been together several years and are pleasing festival goers wherever they perform. Their show in Wickenburg was a most enjoyable performance and were a hit with the crowd.

They are a fun group who are a pleasure to work with. Not only did they wow the crowd at the festival, but also received an encore when they opened for Cherryholmes that Saturday night at the Del Webb Center for the Performing Arts in Wickenburg.

Their new CD, "Leaves On The River," is out and is gaining popularity. On this CD, I particularly enjoyed their original tunes " Angel's Flight" and "Leaves on the River" as well as their version of Gillian Welch's "Orphan Girl."

COMING ATTRACTIONS: Bob Stane Says:
"High Hills Bluegrass Band is one of my top favorites. I am bring my relatives to this show so they know what we do. I know when to show off."

"HIGH HILLS Bluegrass feeds the bulldog. They pump out exactly what the Coffee Gallery Backstage wants and needs. That's a show of two solid hours of fun. No one can feel blue when they hit the stage with the full compliment of bluegrass instruments and up beat voices. They fill the entire bill and finish the show with cries of 'encore' from the paying customers. What more would a simple club owner want? Get high on them right now."

"Belting out their name in four-part harmony, the HIGH HILLS Band soon had the crowd stamping their feet to the sounds of bluegrass. Laughter erupted from the crowd when they recognized a Jewish song, "Hava Nagila," that the all-woman band sneaked into their bluegrass medley. A sea of straw hats and umbrellas bounced in time as HIGH HILLS sang an original song about "... comin' home to Carolina and grandma's farm." Soon, the parking lot of the Wild Cactus boutique was filled with folks listening to music and mingling among the booths filled with hats."

David Richardson
Tricopolis Records

"HIGH HILLS has racked up some great accomplishments and expect we will hear a lot more from them. If you are a fan of HIGH HILLS already, grab this recording. You know you won't regret it. If you haven't heard them, this is a nice introduction to a band that takes the business of performing music seriously and has a great time while they do it."

The 67th Annual Celebrity
Hollywood Chistmas Parade

"HIGH HILLS shared their time and talent to perform for over one-million parade spectators at the Hollywood Christmas Parade - 'The Best Christmas Yet'"

Don Tucker

"Calico Days enjoyed great success and can attribute much of the success to your support and involvement."

Jennifer Kurtz

"HIGH HILLS is sure to peak! All-female band serves as the centerpiece to The Signal's entry in parade. Five women, one dream and a whole lot of ambition. Those are the rocks and minerals of these HIGH HILLS."
